In this unit, students will be immersed in the world of app development. Students start the unit by following a series of beginner, self paced tutorials to learn the basics of MIT App Inventor. After the necessary skills are acquired, students will learn advanced concepts such as sensors and NFC applications. Finally, students will be challenged to create their own original app to benefit their school or community.
